Heathrow airport
On the seminar about trains last week I learned that Englands main airport Heathrow only has two runways (app. 64 milj. passanger). Eventhough Arlanda onlys has 17,1 milj. pax a year, it has three runways (1 runway inaugurated 1959). One visitor revealed that the airport’s lack of runway capacity is a problem. Not to think of the train communication to and from the airport is crusial for the passengers choice of airport. And while the politicians still is only talkning, UK slipps behind the rest of the world.

Snygg logga gor inte allt
Djurskyddsmyndighetens har skrivit ett förslag till nya regler om hästhållning. Det mesta kan nog anses vara rimligt men sedan har det lagt in en passus som får en att reagera.
De viktigaste förändringarna är att det införs krav på att alla hästar dagligen
ska få röra sig fritt, att hästar ska ha social kontakt med
företrädelsevis andra hästar, att de ska ha tillräckligt med
grovfoder samt att tiden som en häst får stå uppbunden i spilta begränsas.
Att ha häst är dyrt. Förslaget innebär troligen att än färre än idag kan ha häst, för med förslaget måste en hästägaren antingen skaffa en till , hysa in den i ett stall (så att den får sällskap) eller sälja den.
Fragan ar vad ar nasta steg? Hundar? Falgar? Guldfiskar?

Taxes
A sunny day in London (almost). Attached photos are views from my office window. Boring? I looked again and saw what I passed by on my way to work.
Tomorrow I will attend a working lunch about railways and a panel discussion about the land value tax. That is a new tax some englishmen want to apply. Land Value Taxation will be an annual tax on the rental value of land. It should replace, not add to, existing taxes. But sadly there are few politicians that due try to decrease the number of taxes. So one wounder if there are going to be less taxes after it would be applied.

Regn och ater regn
Vaknar upp och det regnar. Vasteras flyguppvisning lyckas alltid pricka in dagar da det regnar. Tycker verkligen synd om dem.
Tar flygt till London. Regn. Blasigt. Inget trevligt bemotande.
Sa var man i storstan. Jobbet borjar imorgon. Ska bli kul.
Med tanke pa att inte de svenska bokstaverna finns i detta land sa kan det fram over bli en del texter pa engelska. Snart vantar puben.
